It could be that Facebook is experiencing an error. In this case, this problem should be solved with in some time. Possible causes behind the issue

As mentioned above, there can be a more than one reasons behind this Facebook issue. Some Possible causes behind this issue are given below:

Temporary Error

Mostly the reason behind such an irritating massage on Facebook is temporary error or occasional error due to which profiles are unable to load correctly. You may not even be able to log in, if it is affecting your profile. Similarly if it is affecting someone else, then you may not be able to see their profile, and they may not show up on your Friends list either.

Most of these errors won't affect all users simultaneously; if other profiles are still working, this does not discount the possibility of a server problem. But don’t worry, if such an error is causing the issue, then it should resolve itself within a few hours. Just sit and wait awhile.

Profile Upgrading

Profile upgrading can also be a reason that you are unable to see someone else profile and you are receiving the massage that “content not found”. Its quit normal and periodic that Facebook releases updates to profiles, and they don't always roll out for everyone at the same time.

If your profile is working correctly and someone else's isn't, it could be that Facebook is updating their profile to the next or most recent version. By having a look at other friends' profiles, you can get an idea whether the problem is with their profile alone or with others as well. Profile updating does not usually take long, so within few hours, you can check if it works again.

Temporary Maintenance

When the site is under temporary maintenance, Facebook doesn’t work properly. So this can be another reason. The error messages you receive, when you try to access an unavailable profile after an hour or more later, then temporary maintenance is not the reason, as it doesn’t take so long.

Disabled Account

An account is no more accessible to anyone, if a user disables their own account, until they re-enable it. For all intents and purposes, the account doesn’t exist in such case. Automatically it will be removed from Friends lists, comments will disappear and tags will no longer be linked. You will see this error, if you try to access this profile via a link.

Involuntary Removal

Some people who leave Facebook, do it involuntarily. Like other social networking websites, Facebook has also terms of use and if users violate these terms and conditions, then Facebook itself delete the profile of such people. Like a user can be deleted, if he repeatedly post offensive or inappropriate photos or content.

Blocked User

All of the above discussed factors are positive, maybe system error, internet error, temporary maintenance, besides all there may be some reasons that are quit negative in terms of social relations. Someone has blocked you, could be one of such things. If the persons, whom profile is inaccessible for you than most probably, they has blocked you, or if you have blocked them, you will not be able to see their profile.
