Long awaited Google Moto X phone is coming out from Motorola, surrounding a lot of rumors around new Motorola X Specs and Features.

Moto X Phone Launch is also getting special attention, for it is the first major event, since Google took over Motorola, back in 2011.

New Moto X 2013 is expected to have something special on account of software features, instead of focusing much on hardware specification to be a powerhouse like HTC One, Samsung Galaxy S4, Samsung Note 3, Apple iPhone 6 or Google 's own LG Nexus 5.

Google Moto X Specs features a 4.7 inches display screen with 1280x768p resolution, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor.


Google Moto X Phone Specs, Release Date and Price

The Moto X ad campaign that launched this week has attracted the interest of both the customers and the tech publication. Google is marketing its upcoming Motorola Android device as the smartphone that "You Can Design Yourself". Moto X news sign up page says:
The first smartphone designed, engineered and assembled in the USA is coming. It’s also the first smartphone that you can design yourself. Because today you should have the freedom to design the things in your life to be as unique as you are.
Although there are no official details available yet, it is expected that consumers will be able to design their own case, using something like a basic Google Nexus 4 as an outline.

Motorola X Rumors

There have been a number of rumors and speculations about the new X smartphone which will be produced jointly by Motorola and Google.

A leaked ad campaign from design company B.A. Bäkken has emerged online suggesting that August 1 will see the world say 'Goodbye Moto' to the old style handsets.

A subsequent leak from the same company shows a contrasting campaign saying 'Hello again' to the new generation of devices which may be spearheaded by the Moto X, though an accompanying picture looks distinctly like an older Razr model.

Rumors suggest that the phone will sport an edge-to-edge full HD display, a very rugged and unbreakable built with a long-lasting battery. Furthermore, it is also suggested that Google has implemented a touch-sensitive button in the Motorola logo at the back of the device. The touch-sensitive button at the back is somewhat similar to the Motorola Backflip phone, which was released in January 2010.

A Motorola official leaked that the new Moto X Phone software will be as bloatware-free as possible, therefore we should expect the Moto X phone pre-loaded with Vanilla Android.

Google Moto X Specs and Features

It was previously reported and confirmed by recent Motorola X ad campaign that customization is the significant feature of the upcoming Moto X phone. Whic would offer consumers a choice from over 20 colors and subsequent murmurings have suggested the phone will be customizable. reiterated that customisation will be a significant feature of the phone.

Some of the other confirmed Google Moto X specs and features includes the smartphone design that is highly resistant and having a very thin bezel around the display.

Motorola Moto X features Snapdragon 800 processor backed by 2GB RAM. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 is manufactured on 28nm architecture and it boasts four Krait 400 cores clocked at 2.4 GHz, Adreno 330 GPU, and support for Ultra HD video playback.

The new Moto X features 16GB of internal storage along with 10MP and 2MP back and front cameras, respectively.

Google and Motorola are also focusing much on providing the Moto X smartphone a 4000mAh longer battery like Motorola Droid RAZR Maxx, to get along well with a larger HD display, inline with trend of other Best Smartphones of 2013.

Motorola Moto X is fitted with a 4G LTE MIMO dual antenna, enabling super-fast mobile data speeds.

The Moto X Phone will be assembled in the United States in a factory in Fort Worth, Texas, which was used until recently by Nokia. About 30% of the Motorola X Phone components, like the processor and the OLED screen panel will be imported.

Motorola is also confirmed to keep continued manufacturing its Motorola Droid phones in the near future, which will continue to go on sale through Verizon Wireless.

New Moto X Price in US

According to a report out of the Wall Street Journal, Motorola is about to spend a huge cash to market and promote their upcoming Moto X device. Their sources expect Google to allow Motorola to spend an amount of $500 million to market the device both domestically and internationally including UK, Australia, Europe, Malaysia, Philippine, UAE, Saudi Arabia, China, India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

If the Motorola X does carry Google’s name, we could also see some rather competitive pricing as the search giant looks to undercut the top phones of the moment – such as the Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One.

The Wall Street Journal expects Google Moto X to be a high-end device at the same price point as the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the iPhone 5, costing around $200 on contract and $600 for a factory unlocked model. However The Verge is predicting a non-contract new Moto X Price in US, starting at $199.

Moto X Phone Release Date in US

There have been a lot of rumors running about the mysterious smartphone developed by Google and Motorola together. However, its was only become official when Dennis Woodside, Motorola CEO, confirmed its existence in an interview at D11 conference, saying that the Motorola X Phone release sate will be this summer, adding that it will be called Moto X and that it will be assembled in the US.

At another occasion, Jim Wicks, Motorola Chief Designer, said that the Google X Phone release date is the second half of 2013. However, he did not revealed much details about the new Moto X Phone, other than shunning the rumors that its a phablet, by saying that Motorola Moto X is a smartphone that is sized just right.

According to reliable reports, the Moto X Phone release date is in October 2013 and it will be available world wide. The new Moto X launching on all four major carriers in United States i.e Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile.

However, like if the Nexus 4 launch back in 2012, it is quite possible that after official Moto X Phone release, consumers may still have to wait a long before they get their hands on the new cellphone, due to huge pre-orders and comparatively limited supply capacity.
