Nexus 5 Release Date 2013 in USA

Google has not yet officially announced its new Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie release date which is deferred to Google I/O 2014 Developer's Conference.

Google Nexus 4 is still hot in the market but the production of handset is stopped by LG, to replace it with new and much improved version, Nexus 5. With LG being the hardware development partner October, 2013 is being highly speculated for the next gen Google Nexus 5 release date.

But looking at smartphone market, which is already giving a phone war picture, mainly between upcoming Samsung Galaxy S4 and Apple iPhone 5S, we do not expect an early Nexus 5 launch. LG is too busy with too many things, rendering it unable to meet the Nexus 5 supply challenges, at least at the moment. This we see a Nexus 5 phone launch in October 2013, a year after the Nexus 4 release.

If we see Google Nexus 4 which was announce at Google I/O 2012 between May 15 and 17. And Google Nexus 4 was released in October last year and it was first Android device running on Google Android 4.0 Jelly Bean OS. So we expect same pattern and quality for new Nexus 5 smartphone.

A mid November 2013 Nexus 5 release date, is in order with historical records of Nexus series smartphones. So the Google smart phone lovers might have to wait a little more for new Nexus 5 phone.

There were a few disappointments when the Nexus 4 arrived. One was the lack of LTE, something that has been commonplace on Android devices. The other was the lack of support from anyone but AT&T and T-Mobile. The Galaxy Nexus had been available on Sprint and Verizon and may had been hoping that Google would put the terrible Galaxy Nexus experience behind it with the new model. Things are looking up this year though.

Google Nexus 7 with LTE was a single device capable of running on AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon. This was the sign that Nexus smartphone buyers had been looking for, and it’s a sign that has been backed up by hard evidence discovered within an FCC filing for a device thought to be the Nexus 5. Thus Nexus 5 Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile models with 4G LTE support is not to far.

Google Nexus 5 Price

Although Google LG Nexus 4 has received generally very positive review for its excellent features, it was in fact Nexus price that has paved the way for its huge market success. Google Nexus 4 was very reasonably priced. That’s why it is currently hard to buy because demand outstrips supply.

Following its predecessor footprints, new Nexus 5 price in US will start at $299 for the 16GB model while 32GB model of Nexus 5 will costs around $349.

Nexus 5 Specs and Phone Features

Google Nexus 5 Phone is coming out with amazing specifications and cheap low price. It is highly expected that the Google Nexus 5 will give tough competition to other top smartphones available in the market including iPhone 5S, Samsung Galaxy S4, HTC One, Sony Xperia Z and many other handset like BlackBerry Z10 and Nokia Lumia 928 as well.

Google Nexus 5 Phone Release Date, Price and Specs

The new Nexus 5 phone specs and features are already running high in rumors and following specifications has been confirmed by the multiple sources:
  1. Nexus 5 Design
Over the past Nexus devices have lagged behind in terms of design. This is sure to change with a development of a sleek stylish device worth of holding in the hands. Few modifications on the back design are thought to be in the offing to make it highly marketable. With the rectangular box art design being a revelation with Xperia devices it will not be a surprise to find them in this device from Google

  2. Nexus 5 Display
Bigger and Better is the word that will perfectly describe Nexus 5 as compared to Nexus 4; the handset will reportedly feature a 5 inch Full HD Display at 1920 x 1080 (1080p) resolution. This will be a 1080p screen able to guarantee high levels of clarity and vividness. The Smartphone is also likely to feature a button-less front panel with software buttons as previously introduced by Galaxy Nexus.

  3. Google Nexus 5 Camera
Cameras are becoming the talk of town with need of perfect views with utmost clarity. The latest Smartphone’s being released are featuring an 8MP pixel camera most notably iPhone 5. A 16MP is thought to be the real deal with Nexus 5; this is sure to catch the attention of those people who do not wish to let any perfect view pass them by.

Google Nexus 5 Camera, made by Nikon, will most likely feature an LED flash, autofocus with Full HD video recording. It will also feature the highly regarded street View-like Photo Sphere Mode.

  4. Nexus 5 Performance
Nexus 5 processor cannot be less than 2.3GHz Qualcomm S4 800 pro quad core processor so that it is able to stamp its position among the high end top Smartphone’s. A Quad-core Tegra 4 processor has highly been mentioned to be a possibility with Nexus 5.

  5. Nexus 5 RAM
A RAM of not less than 2GB is the way to go with Nexus 5 if it is to shun competition from top products from Apple and Samsung store. A 2GB RAM is necessary to ensure it is able to cope with the highly demanding features it is to come with.

  6. Nexus 5 Storage
One of the main downfalls of Google devices is that they luck the MicroSD slot that is essential for the expansion of the storage capacity. This being the case with Google devices, it will not be a surprise to see Nexus being launched with only 32 and 16GB worth of internal storage capacity.

The addition of Key Lime Pie in the rumored Nexus 5 would purportedly include the option of multiple user profiles. It would also likely offer options like longer battery time or better performance. And because so many of us can't function like regular humans without being always plugged in to our social networks, there's also talk of improved Twitter integration.

  7. Google Nexus 5 Battery
A bigger and better battery is a must with Nexus 5 to keep it on for long; a 3000mAh battery unit is thought to be in the offing.

  8. Nexus 5 Phone Network connectivity
LG Nexus 4 didn't support 4G/LTE, which was a tactical decision by Google. But being one of the high end Smartphone’s of 2013, 4G LTE connection is sure to be a must with the new Nexus 5. This is sure to guarantee high download speeds for videos and music. This Smartphone will also feature WIFI in all standards with the latest Bluetooth version. Some of the other highly anticipated features in Nexus 5 include NFC, microUSB and a 3.5mm audio jack.

  9. Nexus 5 Android 4.4 Kikat
Google Nexus 5 was supposed to run next Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie. However, since Android 5.0 is not announced so far and rumored to be delayed till 2014, Nexus 5 2013 phone will come with 4.4 Android Kitkat.

However, it is highly rumored that Android 5.0 is about to hit the markets sooner than later. If this is the case there will be no reason not to experience an upgrade in Nexus 5 Operating software. Android Key Lime Pie in Nexus 4 is sure to get an upgrade to the new Android 5.0, too.
For Google a new Nexus 5 phones release at the moment, almost does not matter any benefits, provided the fact that the Nexus 4 is still incredibly hot, very much in demand and still without comparison in its class. It won’t benefit LG, its South Korean Nexus hardware manufacturing partner either, which is already struggling with fulfilling existing Nexus orders.
