Sprint HTC Evo 3D Phone and HTC Evo View 4G Release Date
Sprint finally has announced to release Sprint HTC Evo 3D Phone and HTC Evo View 4G. Just a year later, Sprint struck gold with the HTC Evo 4G as a record seller, the carrier is now back with an Evo branded smart phone and tablet: the HTC Evo 3D and the HTC Evo View 4G.

Sprint first announced these devices at CTIA Wireless 2011, but notably remained quiet when it came to availability and pricing details.

Sprint takes device innovation to a whole new level with the two newest members of the Evo family, HTC Evo 3D and HTC Evo View 4G,” said Fared Adib, senior vice president – Product Development, Sprint. “HTC Evo 3D provides our customers the ability to capture and view content in 3D and share at 4G speeds; HTC Evo View 4G expands on the capabilities of tablets by introducing the digital pen, and allows our consumers to do more.

Sprint HTC Evo 3D Phone: Price, Release Date and Details

The HTC Evo 3D is set to be avialable at stores on June 24th for $199 with a new two-year contract. With integrated 4G connectivity, subscribers need to pay an additional $10 each month for unlimited “Premium Data.” This equates to having to pay at least $79 each month for the most affordable voice plan and the required data package.

The HTC Evo 3D and the HTC Evo View 4G feature built-in mobile hotspots to let up to 8 Wi-Fi enabled devices simultaneously get online. There is no word on whether the software will limit the maximum number of connected users to 5 when on slower 3G networks, but we do know that Sprint plans to charge the standard rate of an additional $29 each month to enable this feature.

We have known that the HTC Evo 3D runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread since the initial announcement, but we now have confirmation that the HTC Evo View will get an upgrade to Android 3.1 Honeycomb when it becomes available. Until that happens, it will continue to run on Android 2.3 as well.

Sprint HTC Evo 3D View 4G: Price, Release Date and Details

The HTC Evo View 4G will also reach stores on June 24th 2011 for $399 with a same new two-year contract and. Monthly rates for this tablet begin at $34 for 3 GB of 3G data and unlimited 4G. Sprint includes unlimited text/picture/video messaging and will apparently offer 3G-only plans as well. For a limited time the HTC Evo View will ship with a HTC Scribe digital pen which normally retails for another $79.

Sprint Stores Opening and Pre-Order Details

Sprint Stores also open at June 24th 2011 8:00AM for those looking to pick up either device on launch day. Customers can also opt to pre-order by purchasing a $50 Sprint gift card at any participating store.
