Best smart phones of 2016

We have reviewed the smartphone market for you and collected information about different models that are expected to be best smartphones of 2016.

Apple iPhone 6C

An updated iPhone rumors have been circulating for some time. Currently, the iPhone 5S has been sold by Apple, with the colorful plastic. But rumors suggest that might change in early 2016. If Apple is to release an iPhone 6C, it probably replaces the position of the current 5S, with some features like Apple Pay support, as well as brings back
the colorful bodywork, possibly in metal this time.

Some say January, others say February, some say it won't happen at all. As is always the case with Apple, look forward to a lot of speculation, but little or no confirm-able reality.

OnePlus 3

Although the OnePlus X graced us with its presence in October 2015 but that hasn't stopped rumors glowing for the next OnePlus device - the OnePlus 3. A set of leaked specs suggested a Full HD display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip under the hood. Although we think this is unlikely but the leak suggested a fingerprint sensor might not be on board this time round.

We look forward to the rumors and assumption for the OnePlus 3 to pick up over the next couple of months, but currently we expect that OnePlus 3 will arrive with a similar design and size to the previous models, along with Qualcomm's SD820 processor, 4GB of RAM and USB Type-C. We don't expect iris recognition or to see a QHD display, but a larger battery capacity and a slight increase in price from the OnePlus 2 is quite obvious.

OnePlus 2 Mini

Rumors are started for the OnePlus next flagship, also with a speculation suggesting that it is working on a mini version of its current flagship too. The OnePlus 2 Mini has been rumored to be approaching with a 4.6-inch display, which would make it the smallest OnePlus existing device.

It has also been expected to come with a Full HD resolution, which makes sense given that's what its bigger brother offers. At this size and resolution, it would make it the sharpest display in the OnePlus portfolio. A 12-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage are also featuring in OnePlus 2 Mini. We'd expect the OnePlus 2 Mini to arrive with the Oxygen OS.

Motorola Moto X

Motorola launched three Moto X devices in July of 2015 with the forecast of its success. Chinese website Wapvnet leaked a picture of upcoming new Moto X 2016 an all-metal body device. The internals of the new Moto X also appeared on Chinese website Techweb. Motorola is also looking to offer over clocking options.

Currently there are few rumors floating regarding the Motorola Moto X (2016). Nothing is certain but a lot of surprises we will see with couple of new Moto X models in the middle of 2016, one of which potentially offering a metal build.

Couples of improvements are expected in most areas likely to be the way so a faster processor, more RAM, microSD support, a high battery capacity and the most up-to-date software would all be logical guesses. We also expect the camera to be a big concern as it was in 2015.

Samsung Galaxy S7

The Samsung Galaxy S7 has already strike the rumor cycle. The device has been code named Project Lucky and two models are expected, referred to as Hero and Hero2.

The existing leaks recommend that you can expect a 5.2-inch device and a 5.8-inch device, but there have also been reports of a 5.7-inch device with a Quad HD display. It's completely realistic to put forward that Samsung will have another dual edge device or devices.

A 16-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera are expected, although according to Sam Mobile, Samsung is testing a dual-camera setup in some prototypes as well as a 20-megapixel ISOCELL sensor. In terms of processor, Samsung will stick to Exynos in one device and put the Qualcomm SD820 in the other.

The use of a Snapdragon chip set might be for testing, though, as we suspect that Samsung will stick with in-house hardware. There’s also been good information of a return to supporting micro SD cards. As for the timeline, some expect that Samsung look forward to launch Samsung Galaxy S7 on the eve of Mobile World Congress 2016.

HTC One M10

HTC passed through a difficult year in 2015, with the M9 perhaps not being the hit it wanted. There's the suggestion that HTC may discard the name M10 for the next handset, but until we know more, we're going to keep using it.

HTC's most exciting device in 2015, possibly, has been the HTC One A9. It has a refreshed design, opts for an AMOLED display and runs a lighter version of Sense than we've seen before. It also performs well on its mid-range hardware.

With little information about HTC's plans, we guess that the A9 is a test bed device for the subsequent flagship. A fingerprint scanner is a must evolution. However we wouldn't be amazed to see that lighter version of Sense and that AMOLED display appear again. The dates haven't been discussed, but we suspect HTC will launch on the eve of Mobile World Congress 2016 as it did in 2015.

BlackBerry Vienna

After BlackBerry announced the Priv - its first Android handset - another model appeared code named Vienna. There's slight information on the Vienna so far, but it is speculated to be a candy bar device, offering a fixed physical keyboard under the large display. There's the rumor that if the Priv is successful, this is the next step in BB's march into Android.

We suspect that Vienna is going to be easy on pocket than the Priv flagship, based on the design that looks a lot like the finish of the Leap. There's no word on release date, but the Priv was first flashed at MWC 2015, so the Vienna could appear in February 2016.

Acer Predator 6

Acer announced the Predator 6, a high-end smartphone aimed at gamer. The device has a 6-inch screen and deca-core MediaTek processor - that's 10-cores of power - and there is 4GB of RAM in order to play console-style games when on the move.

Few other details have been released about the phone so far, but it joins a whole family of gaming products from Acer, all of which come under the Predator banner.Predator 6 has 21-megapixel camera on the rear and four speakers The Acer spokesperson on stage said it would "dominate any mobile games you can throw at it". Stay updated with us to know further about Acer Predator 6.

Sony Xperia Z6

There are not many Smartphone updating machines quite as determined as Sony Mobile. The Xperia Z3+ was only on sale for a few months before the launch of the Xperia Z5 family. And there's now rumors of coming up with the Xperia Z6.
Sony's latest update made a few changes - there's the 4K display model, the addition of a new camera module and the fingerprint scanner. It is expected that it might appear in the second half of 2016.

LG G5

There aren't many rumors circulating just yet, but expect the speculation to heat up soon. In the meantime some LG G5 rumored specs are circulating. It is guessed to have a Snapdragon 820 processor and 20MP camera.

Another rumor suggests it will have a 21MP snapper on the back and a 5MP one on the front, as well as a 5.6-inch 2K screen. Even more excitingly the LG G5 could supposedly have an iris scanner. The LG G5 release date is being teased for February 21 at MWC and we expected the LG G5 to be announced in late-spring 2016 and go on sale in May or June.
