The Last of Us Trailer and Release Date: Survival Horror Action PS3 Games

The Last of Us is an upcoming third-person survival horror action-adventure video game developed by "Naughty Dog" for the PS3. The 'Last of Us' was officially revealed on December 10, 2011 during the Spike TV Video Games Awards.

Christophe Balestra, Naughty Dog's Co-President in an interview with "Daily USA Today" said:

We are trying to move the medium of video games into an area elevated in the same manner of respect of film. We want to redefine what our medium is even called. 'Video game' is not an accurate name anymore. It is not necessarily a game with rules and a winner and a loser. It's an experience."

In its official blurb Naughty Dog defined survival horror adventure PS3 game entry, The Last of Us as:

A genre-defining experience that blends survival and action elements to tell a character driven tale about a modern plague decimating mankind.

The PS3 game was first teased before the Spike Video Game Awards on November 29, 2011. Initial The Last of Us Trailers for PS3 shows an apocalyptic event, including riots, epidemic, quarantine, and violence, as well as a clip of the BBC Planet Earth showing an ant infected with Cordyceps unilateralis, a dangerous parasitic fungus that usually kills insects such as ants.

The Last of Us Release Date for PS3 Games

The Last of Us Release Date is revealed to be in Q4 2012/Q1 2013. The Last of Us, the cinematic third-person Survival Horror Action title is planned for release on PS3 in late 2012 or early 2013.

It has been confirmed by Naughty Dog studio that Mark Richard Davies, the former lead designer of "Enslaved", is working on "The Last of Us" a whch ios expected to be a superb addition in the Survival Horror Action PS3 games.
